Description
COXICEL is used in adults for the relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It belongs to a group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), specifically COX-2 inhibitors. It works by reducing the production of prostaglandins in the body, which cause pain and inflammation, thereby helping to reduce pain and inflammation. The medicine may start working within hours of the first dose, but full effect may take several days.
