Description
Avamys (fluticasone furoate) helps reduce inflammation in the nasal passages caused by seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as house dust and hay fever. It helps relieve symptoms including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, and nasal itching, and may also improve associated eye symptoms such as tearing, itching, and redness. Avamys is indicated for adults and children aged 6 years and older. It is a prescription intranasal corticosteroid that requires regular use for several days to achieve optimal effect. It is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), and pack size may vary by market (commonly around 120 sprays).
